apron for my best friend

I made this back in October for my long time best friend. I meant to send it to her for x-mas but that didn't happen. So I am going to send it to her when she moves into her new apartment! Sorry the pictures aren't very good.

I got the pattern from ithinksew. I love it and will be making one for myself!

oops forgot photos

So I have worked on a few different things and forgot to take photos. I made two very similar baby blankets. (Useing quilt blocking.) They turned out very cute but no pictures. I am trying to get some but they have already been given.

I also made a really rockin purse for my friends birthday, again no photos. I did use a patteren for that one. It was pretty simple and turned out nice. I am going to make a fabric rose to match but I keep forgetting to to buy a pin back for it!

Now I am starting on the baby blanket for my in utero baby brother or sister. It won't be a traditional baby blanket in style or colors. But will fit their tastes!

I made top 25!

I entered the Burda Style Mod Cloth hand made contest and made it into the top 25 with my Hounds tooth hand warmers! I have never entered a contest and am so excited to do so well with my first attempt! I of course was out of town during the voting so I couldn't send my friends to vote for me but I don't care I am just so happy to be a part of it.

My piece in the slide show.

x-mas stockings for a friend

I made these stockings for a friend she just wanted one for her son Kyler, to match with their daughters handmade stocking. I haven't ever seen her stocking except for in two cell phone pictures.

But this is what I came up with. I didn't have a pattern, and I decided to make one for her an
her hubby so they all had handmade stockings.
The top photos are of her daughters stocking.
All the stocking are made of quilters cotton and I used a fuse able plush interfacing.
