5 min re-fashion

Ok so I have two of these wrap shirts from Express from 2005 or 2006. Back when my job required looking business-y.

I love them a lot they have these amazing french cuffs and are super comfortable, but in this amazing California weather long sleeves are just not COZY.

SO here is my 5 min refashion...

All i did was cut off the sleeves fold them in and run a stitch though. I need to pull the darts in a little so I will do that later this week... my dress form has nicer breasts then me.... :( lol

The camera bag...

So after many pricked fingers, here it is, I don't have a picture if the completed one as I was finishing it with Gail standing next to me. I made this bag for her to have something Feminine and pretty for her camera as she was shooting Project Ethos San Diego. This was last night, I was there and am so inspired buy the designers that I will have to get back to my machine very soon.

So My amazing friend asked me to make a custom camera bag for her, as she is photographing at Fashion week here in San Diego. THIS THURSDAY!!! Above is the fabric i am using, also using a black pleather... it should look amazing when i am done.

So all other projects are halted. I am in the middle of one top, cutting pieces for my sample dress,etc. that's all on hold.

I don't really mind, I just feel a little rushed.

kelton's Overalls

I made these for my son. They turned out so cute. I still need to add side buttons. The corduroy was kind of hard to work with as it kept fraying on me!

my wanna be retro dress

I was supposed to make this as a homecoming dress when my hubby came home from Iraq, lol but i just got around to making it... it's a little too snug... but I love it!!

So it's decided I will be making this pattern with straps and bow in the green color to the left .

For my cousin's wedding in sept.

I am soo very excited!

Ok I am super excited I just got my dress form!
I am going to be adding two more projects to this years work.
I need a seafoam green short dress for a wedding in sept.
and a long formal dress for the Navy ball which is in the end of oct/beginning of nov.

Blog Start

I found this great fabric on clearance, at Jo-ann's.

I just finished a woven vinyl clutch in blue vinyl. Also bought at jo-anns for 6.00 a yard I used maybe 1/3 of the yard.
